Description
Florida's Key Biscayne is a hamlet on a barrier island that is separated from Miami by the Rickenbacker Causeway. It is surrounded by two sizable parks, Crandon Park and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, all of which include lengthy, protected beaches, mangroves, and tropical forests home to a variety of birds, butterflies, and loggerhead turtles. The Cape Florida Lighthouse from the nineteenth century is located there. On a little patch of land, Key Biscayne has all the attractions of South Florida, including luxurious single family homes and resort-like buildings in addition to having excellent beaches, Key Biscayne also has the attractiveness of being tucked between two noteworthy parks: Crandon Park to the north and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, which contributes to its unique outdoor lifestyle.
In addition, Key Biscayne is home to the first federally designated
underwater archaeological route in the United States and a neighboring coastal
barrier reef.
