Things to Do Before Selling Your House:

First thing is to get a realtor that understands your needs and will work to realize your goals.

1- Do a professional inspection of your house and repairs (you don’t want a nasty surprise when your house is on the market)

2- Make your curb appeal the focus of your entrance! A clean yard with some well-chosen plants and small repairs will make a beautiful entrance

3- Make all the spaces in your house as clean and de cluttered as possible with no personal photos or valuables. (Your client will imagine his personal items in the house)

4- Repair and paint in neutral colors all your rooms to make them appear open, clean, and bigger.

5- Remember to adjust, fix, or change your switches, plugs and handles (it makes your house appear well taken care)

6- Clean, and then clean everything to eliminate smells or odors in your house (clean smell is a powerful motivator)

7- Make your back yard a clean, inviting, and comfortable area.
